Construction resumes at 16 Park Apartments

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Construction has resumed at the site of the 16 Park Apartments.
IFD and IMPD have concluded their work on the fire from Friday night. Now, the Indianapolis Housing Agency has access to the construction site, according to IHA Executive Director Bud Myers.
According to a statement released by Myers, the immediate next step includes more investigation by insurance investigators. There will be weeks of delay on the actual burn site because of these insurance investigations.
Next week, workers will return to the site directly adjacent the fire site and begin construction. That site houses 43 units and is expected to be completed in the fall.
