Corner, front door torn off apartment

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Monday, a woman lost control of her vehicle and crashed into an apartment unit, tearing off the door and corner of the apartment.

Officials say the incident occurred just before 6 p.m. in the 7800 block of Red Mill Drive at the Autumn Mills Apartments.

The woman who lives in the damaged apartment had her grandson over at the time of the crash. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.

The driver of the vehicle is being detained by IMPD and could be transported for a blood draw.
