GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH) - Tamara Vangundy plans to resign as Hancock County Coroner at the end of the month, but remains on the November ballot.

VanGundy pleaded guilty Wednesday to two misdemeanor charges of official misconduct and driving under the influence.

She is currently still in office. Her resignation will be voluntary on her part, and not a condition of her guilty plea in court on Wednesday, according to her attorney.

VanGundy was accused of arriving to a death investigation under the influence in May .
