HENDRICKS CO., Ind. (WISH) - Police say a woman is dead after losing control of her vehicle on I-70 early Friday morning.
Indiana State Police say the woman, 18-year-old Alainee Elmore, of Centerville, was exiting from I-70 onto State Road 267 when she abruptly turned left from the exit ramp back onto I-70.
While spinning, Elmore's car got into the path of a semi-trailer, which hit the car.
Elmore was killed in the crash, according to police.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
I-70 was shut down for about two hours and has since re-opened.
