INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Emergency crews responded Thursday morning to a crash on the southwest side.
A view from Chopper 8 shows a pickup truck under a tanker truck near Pom's Tire Service. Police dispatchers say the driver of the pickup was trapped inside the vehicle. By 8 a.m., crews were able to get the driver out. The driver was believed to be injured.
It’s unclear what caused the crash around 7 a.m., but dispatchers say the tanker was empty, so there was no concern about hazardous materials.
The crash prompted the closure of Harding Street at Raymond Street.
