INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Residents weren't home Thursday morning when their southwest side home caught fire, killing two dogs in the house, fire officials said.
Three departments responded to the fire in the 3400 block of South Mooresville Road. Decatur Township Fire Department, Wayne Township Fire Department and Indianapolis Fire Department all helped battle the flames around 10 a.m.
Fire officials told 24-Hour News 8 that neighbors called 911.
