Delaware Street project complete

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A downtown Indianapolis revitalization project is complete and will have a new traffic pattern starting Tuesday.

RebuildIndy has been working on a stretch of Delaware Street between Maryland and McCarty streets, where CityWay will be. CityWay is a mixed use development project .

Starting Tuesday, the stretch of Delaware Street will become a two-way street; it has been a northbound on-way street. The remainder of Delaware Street throughout the city will remain one-way.

The redeveloped area has become more pedestrian friendly, including upgrades that are complaint with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
