JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - The Indiana State Police are currently working on a disabled tractor-trailer on eastbound I-70 neat the 25 mile marker.

Officials say the semi had technical difficulties and lost about 20 gallons of diesel fuel. The fuel reportedly spilled onto the emergency shoulder.

Jackson and Posey Township Fire Departments are assisting with the cleanup. The semi has been removed from the roadway.

Motorists are warned that traffic is slow in the area.

The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Bill Hodge of Laurel, MS. He was cited for violations and placed out of service by the State Police.
