INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Fire in a kitchen at an Indianapolis apartment building left 15 people without a home early Wednesday morning.
Firefighters went to the 4700 block of Glastonbury Court for the fire at Strawbridge Green Apartments around 4 a.m.
No one was seriously injured, though some of the apartment’s occupants were treated by medics at the scene for slight smoke inhalation. Several pets also made it out alive, though one Shitz-tsu named Q-tip required oxygen treatment using a device specifically for animals.
The fire was under control in minutes.
