INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A dog named Diesel was rescued from a residence fire Saturday afternoon on the 3700 block of Ruckle Street.
Fire crews were called to the residence shortly after 4:30 p.m. No one was inside of the home when the fire broke out, but firefighters did find a dog named Diesel in the basement of the structure.
There were no injuries reported.
The Indianapolis Fire Department’s Victim Assistance Unit was called to help the family who lives in the home find shelter.
The fire is currently under investigation.
Damages are estimated at $100,000.
