Domestic disturbance leads to chase

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Officers who were called to the report of a domestic disturbance in a car were led on a short chase Sunday evening.

Dispatchers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the report of a domestic disturbance in a car near 38th Street and Emerson Avenue around 4:30 p.m.

When police arrived, the car drove away and refused to stop. Police were led on a brief pursuit before the vehicle crashed at 46th Street and Emerson Avenue.

There were no injuries reported.

One female was taken into custody, police say.
