NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Today a new elementary school has opened its doors.
Promise Road Elementary school opened for the first time this morning.
The school was built with money raised after voters passed an early construction referendum in 2010.
The school’s principal spoke with 24-Hour News 8 this morning and gave a tour of the school’s inside and the new technology it has to offer.
"We have added the Apple TV component,” Principal Kelly Treinen said. “Our building is ready for the next steps which is great."
All seven elementary schools in the Noblesville School District are now Kindergarten through fifth grade. Kindergarten through fourth grade was offered before.
The district will also have two middle schools as part of a district wide realignment.
