INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Dozens of people braved the rain Monday morning to don their best red dress and "dash" around the Circle.
The first ever "Red Dress Dash" was a precursor to American Heart Month, which begins on Friday.
And although the participants wore dresses, it wasn't exclusively for women.
"A lot of guys I work with are coming down here and it was easier to get them in the dress than you would imagine. So, we may be finding some things out about ourselves that we didn't know," James King of IFD Station 9 said.
Heart disease is the number one killer of women in the United States and in Indiana.
