INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Department of Public Safety wants to hear area residents ideas, concerns and questions, and they’ve established an email account for just that purpose.

"The Department of Public Safety can only be as successful as the support it has from the community," said DPS Director Troy Riggs. "It is our goal to ensure that citizens are included in our strategic planning and implementation process."

The department will also be having several meetings over the next year to review its operations and look for ways to improve service and efficiency.

Anyone interested in submitting thoughts, concerns, or questions can send an email to dps@indy.gov . Inquiries will be addressed during regular business hours.
