INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Representatives from the Indianapolis Department of Public Works will begin visiting neighborhoods Thursday and continue throughout the fall.
DPW representatives will be educating residents about roundabouts.
From 2013 to 2014, DPW plans to install six roundabouts in Marion County.
Roundabouts offer benefits like easing traffic congestion.
Open houses sponsored by the city will inform residents on how to use roundabouts, how to properly identify signs, and how to share the road with cyclists, according to a release.
DPW will answer questions about each project. Residents can attend several open houses.
