Driver flees after serious accident

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police are on scene of a serious accident involving a semi truck and a pick-up truck.
The incident occurred just before 7 a.m. Saturday morning near Kentucky Avenue and West Hanna Avenue. This is on the city's southwest side, near I-70 and I-465.
Police say the driver and the passenger of the pick-up were trapped inside the vehicle and suffered from serious injuries.
Police searched for a driver who fled the scene following the accident. As of 10:30 a.m., IMPD dispatchers were not sure which of the drivers fled the scene.
Officers say alcohol may be a factor in this accident.
