Suspected drunken driver crashes into Bakers Life Fieldhouse

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis Metropolitan Police arrested a suspected intoxicated driver after she crashed her SUV into Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The crash damaged a fire hydrant and outer portions of the fieldhouse located at 125 S. Pennsylvania Ave.

The driver, 41-year-old Christina Christian of Indianapolis, was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital in stable condition. 

Christian was given a portable breath test and police say she was above the legal limit of .08.

Police arrested Christian on a preliminary charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated causing endangerment.
