INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Fire Department says a drunk driver slammed his car into Kuntz Soccer Stadium early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. near East Riverside and West 16th Street. Police say the driver of the vehicle, 33-year-old Santonio Rivers, lost control of his 1995 Cadillac SLS and crashed into the building.

Police believe he was driving drunk. Police say Rivers was unstable on his feet, had bloodshot eyes, and smelled of alcohol at the time of the incident.

Officials say the building did not suffer a significant amount of damage and the driver was not seriously injured.
