Drunken parent arrested at high school

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A 35-year-old mother was arrested Monday on charges that she was drunk at Franklin Central High School.
Franklin Township School Police report they could immediately smell alcohol when they spoke with Denise Cochran. According to the police report, the woman told officers she was not intoxicated but had taken several different prescriptions.
Officers found six different prescription bottles in her purse, but say the Cochran later admitted to having two “Jack and cokes” earlier in the day.
Cochran was arrested and transported to the Marion County Arrestee Processing Center.
