INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The 1,500 pound limestone eagle at Old City Hall will be replaced on Thursday.

The original statue was damaged beyond repair when struck by a cherry picker in January as workers hung a banner for the TURF art show, according to a release.

The company’s insurance paid for the replacement.

Motorists should be aware of the activity while passing through the area.
