INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Some Colts fans got quite a shock Thursday nibht when a car came crashing into their garage as they were watching the game.
The driver of the Mustang involved in the crash, William Kise, 41, told Indianapolis Fire Department investigators his foot got stuck between the accelerator and the brake pedal. The car then careened through the front yard and into the garage at 7934 Cross Willow Blvd., where Mark and Rachel Higgins were watching the game. Their four children were also inside at the time of the crash, which happened at about 10:15 p.m.
No one in the family was injured. The structural damage, however, is bad enough that the family must find another place to stay until a full evaluation can be done, IFD said. Battalion Chief Phillip Reuter estimated the damage at $30,000.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is also investigating the crash.
