INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The family of a man missing since early this month is asking for volunteers to join in searching for him this weekend.

Joshua Swalls was last seen visiting a friend at Lakewood Lodge Apartment, 6630 Glenbrook Drive, at 2 a.m. on Nov. 4. His cellphone was found at his friend’s apartment, and his car was found in the parking lot. On Nov. 7, a dive team searched a nearby retention pond after a shoe believed to belong to Swalls was found in the area. Divers did not find any other evidence, however.

Now, for the second weekend in a row, his family is organizing ground searches. Those willing to help in the search on Saturday should meet in the parking lot of the former Nora Café near Target, 1300 E. 86th St. On Sunday, volunteers should meet in the parking lot of Kroger, 2629 E. 65th St.

Swalls, a 2008 graduate of Noblesville High School, is 5'11" tall, 160 lbs. and has tattoos on the insides of both wrists.

The family is also using social media in the search efforts. To keep up with the latest, check their website, Facebook page or Twitter feed.

Anyone with information should call police at 317-327-6300, or call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous, and information that leads to felony arrest may be eligible for cash reward.
