INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Almost six months after Super Bowl XLVI was held in Indianapolis, progress continues on the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Near Eastside Legacy Project.

Several organizations and hundreds of volunteers celebrated that progress Saturday with activities at the Arsenal Technical High School football stadium, according to a release.

Volunteers made improvements to the stadium and officials dedicated the stadium’s new field turf which was formerly the practice turf of Super Bowl XLVI Champions, the New York Giants.
