INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Two Indianapolis homes are badly damaged after a fire started in one then spread to another.

It happened just before 3 a.m. Sunday morning at a home on Webster Avenue near Windor Drive on the east side.

Firefighters say the fire started in the garage of one home, then quick spread to a neighboring home.

Both houses were vacant.

Damage to both homes is estimated at around $40,000.
