Firefighters battle another house fire

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis Firefighters were on the scene of a house fire that broke out Friday morning on the city's east side.

The home, located in the 3400 block of Sherman Drive was vacant.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and investigators were called to the scene.

The cause if unknown at this time.

Sherman Drive between 34th and 35th Street was closed off as of 5:30 a.m.
