MOORESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Wayne Township firefighters are assisted Mooresville Firefighters with a two alarm fire in Mooresville Friday.
The fire broke out at TOA USA, a metal stamping plant located at 2000 Pleiades Drive.
Officials say the fire broke out just after noon Friday when an exhaust fan inside of a ventilation pipe overheated and caught fire. Firefighters say the fire was relatively small and was contained to the roof area.
The second box alarm is an automatic response to fire since TOA is a factory.
Nobody was hurt in the incident. However, due to staffing issues, four engines were used from other stations.
Repairs to the roof and ventilation pipe are expected to take place next week.
