INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Monday is a day dedicated to the achievements of Martin Luther King Jr. In downtown Indianapolis, there are many special events including free admission to several area attractions.

Among the places offering free admission Monday are The Children's Museum, Crispus Attucks Museum, Rhythm! Discovery Center, Indianapolis Museum of Art and Indiana History Center.

“This is a way to kind of get that dialogue going, that conversation starter on some topics that might be a little more difficult to talk to your children about. You can come and show them examples and it helps with the understanding,” said Kimberly Harms from The Children’s Museum of the number of different exhibits offered at the museum including showings of the “I have a dream” speech.
