INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Stop, drop and donate – it was the message from downtown bars Saturday during the Passing the Hat for kids at Hoosier Burn Camp.
The fundraiser helps the camp serve hundreds of kids in Indiana who have suffered burn injuries.
Kilroy's, Tilted Kilt, The Pub and Howl at the Moon sponsored the event during the Blarney Bash.
Firefighter Troy Bradford is a volunteer for the camp.
“I do it for the kids,” Bradford said. “This is a great opportunity for them to be normal again with other kids that have burns and it's just a good opportunity to give back to the community.”
They'll be out collecting donations until midnight Saturday and then again Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
