"Indy's Super Cure" Gala raises money for breast cancer

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee celebrated “Indy’s Super Cure” Saturday night with a major fundraising gala at Conseco Fieldhouse.
The gala included nationally acclaimed entertainment, a live and silent auction and heartwarming tributes to people who inspired Indy’s Super Cure, according to a release.
Tiffany Olson, chair of Indy’s Super Cure’s Steering Committee stated in the release that, “Tonight is about lives touched, survived and lost in the fight against breast cancer. It’s not about making a difference, it’s about making the difference with Indy’s Super Cure.”
Indy’s Super Cure, an initiative launched by the Host Committee in July 2011, aims to raise awareness, raise money and increase healthy breast tissue donations to the Komen Tissue Bank.
