INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Gas prices are falling in central Indiana, and some stations have even broken the $3 mark.

According to gasbuddy.com, Several stations in Franklin and a few in eastern Indianapolis were selling regular unleaded for $2.98 a gallon Monday morning.

However, the site on Monday was sending out alerts regarding potential upcoming price hikes. Indiana is among state where prices are expected to jump 25 cents to 40 cents a gallon in the next two days, the gas price tracking company said.
