INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Girl Scouts hosted a "Girl Scout Cookie Drive-Thru" at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Friday morning.
A Girl Scout troop from the Indian School for the Deaf sold cookies during a drive-thru event. The event celebrated National Girl Scout Cookie Day.
Feb 8 has been named National Girl Scout Cookie Day to honor the real purpose of the cookie program which is to teach girls essential life skills.
For nearly 100 years, Girl Scouts have participated in the annual cookie sale.
The first 100 people to attend the event received a coupon for a free gallon of Dean's milk.
