INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - After eight wonderful years at WISH-TV, Deanna Dewberry is saying goodbye.

Deanna joined the WISH-TV team in January 2005 and has become an asset to the Indianapolis community.

Through her investigations, telling of heartfelt stories, and serving on a variety of boards, Deanna will be sorely missed.

An Emmy award winning journalist, Deanna has also received honors from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Associated Press.

During her time with WISH-TV, Deanna was diagnosed with breast cancer and says the support she received from family and friends is what made her recovery so easy.

Deanna is headed back home to Texas where she will work in Dallas at KXAS. There she will be an anchor and consumer investigative reporter.
