Handcuffed woman escapes from officers

Indianapolis, (WISH) - Police were searching the northeast side of Indianapolis for a woman who escaped from officers Thursday afternoon.
Authorities say the woman was in handcuffs and sitting in the back of the squad car, in the 1100 block of Parker Street.
Officers say that when they checked on her, they noticed she was gone.
Additional officers including K-9 have been called in to search the area.
