Hit and run crash closes Michigan Road

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says the northbound lanes of Michigan Road are closed due to a vehicle accident.
The hit and run accident occurred in the 7700 block of North Michigan Road. Police say they have a description of the suspect car and are still searching for the car and driver.
One victim was taken to the hospital with a broken rib.
No word on how long Michigan Rd. will be closed.
