INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Tuesday, 3,500 Hoosiers will pack 1 million meals at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Those meals will be sent to kids in need, locally and worldwide.

The Million Meal Marathon is a joint effort between the Indianapolis Colts the group Kids Against Hunger.

Their mission is to feed hungry kids, both locally, through Central Indiana food banks, and internationally, as far away as the Horn of Africa.

Volunteers from church groups, school groups and high school sports teams, as well as Colts players will assemble the non-perishable meals.

If you're not part of Tuesday’s event, you can still donate. Each $1 donated provides four meals to a hungry child.  Click here to learn more or donate.
