INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - As the Colts prepare for Sunday’s game against the Jets, hundreds of people are coming out Saturday night to support Coach Chuck Pagano and others battling certain types of cancer.

Light the Night raises money for Indiana’s chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Funds raised will go toward cancer research and to take care of those battling blood cancers.

Colts Coach Chuck Pagano is one of nearly 140,000 Americans diagnosed every year with a form of blood cancer.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society holds walks like Light the Night every fall in hundreds of communities across the country.

Walkers carry different colored illuminated balloons that hold different meanings. White balloons represent survivors, red balloons represent supporters, and gold balloons represent those who have lost their battle with cancer.
