Hurricane Sandy strands 32 Buddhists

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Hurricane Sandy is disrupting travel at Indianapolis International Airport.

A group of 32 from the An Lac Buddhist temple in Indianapolis was among many trying to fly to the east coast, who had their flights canceled.

The Buddhist who were on their way to New Deli, India say their hearts and prayers are with those in the path of the storm and have this advice for anyone who maybe traveling.

“Positive thinking do what we want to do say we will go and we will go don’t give up,” said Tammy Vo stranded Buddhist traveler.

Some in the group have been re-routed to Denver then Vietnam before finally reaching New Deli.
