IFD investigating garage, mattress fire

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Fire Department was dispatched to the 1400 block of Orange Street Saturday night in response to a garage fire.
IFD arrived on scene around 9:10 p.m. and found fire showing from a one-story garage. Firefighters had the fire under control within 10 minutes.
According to a release from IFD, a neighbor called police after he spotted a mattress on fire outside of the garage. He says he attempted to put out the fire, but it spread to the nearby garage.
IFD is investigating this incident.
