IFD responds to Galloway Ave. fire

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Fire Department is investigating a residence fire that happened shortly after 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
According to a release from IFD, the owner of the home smelled smoke and saw that the garage was on fire and called IFD to the home at 7415 Galloway Avenue.
When emergency responders arrived, they saw heavy fire and smoke coming from the garage. Officers had the fire under control within 15 minutes and no injuries were reported.
This fire is still under investigation.
