INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The coroner has identified a man found dead along railroad tracks on the city’s south side early Tuesday morning.

Gage Raub, 20, died of multiple blunt force injuries, according to the Marion County coroner’s office. They identified him through fingerprints, but have no information on his next of kin.

Shortly after 4 a.m., police received a report from a CSX employee of a possible body near East Raymond Street, a couple of blocks east of South Madison Avenue.

Homicide detectives, CSX Railroad Police and the Marion County coroner's office were called to the scene. Police found that the body had suffered trauma and believe the individual was struck by a train.

Investigators said they will look at a surveillance video that may show which train may have struck the man.

The coroner’s office asked that anyone with information about Raub contact their office.
