INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana couples who find it romantic getting married on Valentine's Day can get hitched at the Marion County clerk's office in Indianapolis.

Clerk Beth White will perform civil wedding ceremonies and marriage vow renewals Thursday to raise money for the American Heart Association.

Couples who wish to wed must have a marriage license, which costs $18. Couples from outside Indianapolis can marry in Marion County if they have a license from their home county.

There is no fee for the service, but couples are asked to make a voluntary $50 contribution to the American Heart Association's 'Go Red for Women' campaign. In seven years, the annual event has raised nearly $12,000 and White has performed 267 weddings.

Reservations are full and walk-ins will be served on a first-come basis.
