INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The community of Indianapolis celebrated Earth Day at White River State Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 22nd Earth Day festival hosted 140 vendors, artists, and organizations, who provided information and activities to inform people of how to keep the planet clean and safe.
Kids who attended were able to build a bird feeder, see a wild animal, decorate a T-shirt, plant a seed, sing a song, and other fun activities.
Talent from both 24-Hour News 8 and Indy Style attended the event and handed out prizes.
