INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Rev. Charles Harrison will fly out to Washington D.C. next week to meet with the vice president.

Harrison is going on behalf of IndyCAN, or Indianapolis Congregation Action Network.

Harrison will join ministers from across the country to talk with Vice President Joe Biden and members of Congress about gun violence.

Organizers tapped Harrison for the trip because of his work locally with the Ten Point Coalition. The coalition works hand in hand with investigators to curb gun violence in Indianapolis.

Harrison is scheduled to arrive in Washington D.C. on Monday.
