INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - After canceled performances and a very public disagreement, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and its union of musicians have reached an agreement.

The ISO announced the short-term agreement on Tuesday, with plans to resume the musical season on Thursday.

The agreement was made effective Tuesday and runs for five years. It includes plans to reduce costs and increase fundraising efforts.

Musicians will see a 32 percent pay cut in the first year as a result of the agreed-upon contract, according to ISO.

Anyone with tickets to previously-canceled performances can attend another scheduled ISO performance, so long as it isn’t a special event.
