INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Thursday marks Indy’s 47th Annual Christ Church Cathedral Women's Strawberry Festival.
The festival helps fund many local and worldwide non-profit organizations like Gleaners Food Bank, IndyReads, Noble Of Indiana, Girls Incorporated of Greater Indianapolis, Cancer Support Community of Central Indiana and more.
The crews put on an amazing performance creating the “Works”, which consists of shortcake, strawberries, ice cream and whipped topping.
You can have all that for $6.00 or customers can order items a la carte, with or without any of the toppings for just $2.00 each.
Over 18,000 biscuits are hand-made at the Cathedral kitchen for the Strawberry Festival, according to a release.
The downstairs of the Church opens at 8:30 a.m. for carry out orders. Serving under tents on the circle begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m.
They will have entertainment as well beginning at 10 a.m.
