INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - An Indianapolis man is dead after he was shot inside a home on the Southwest side Saturday.

Officers were called to the 1600 block of Beuhlah Ave. around 3 p.m. after neighbors reported a woman covered in blood screaming “call the police.”

Metro Police say the 25-year-old man was taken to Wishard Hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound, where he later died. Detectives are still working to notify his family, and are not releasing his identity yet.

Another man, 35, who was also involved in the fight was treated for a large gash to his head. He is listed in good condition at Wishard Hospital.

No arrests have been made, and police say the case has been forwarded on to the Marion County Prosecutor who will determine if any charges will be filed.
