Indy man wins competition in Georgia

DULUTH, Ga. (WISH) - An Indianapolis man has won a bass fishing competition in Georgia on Sunday.

Fatheadz pro Jacob Wheeler weighted a five-bass limit totaling 11 pounds, 15 ounces for a four day total of 60 pounds, 1 ounce to win the Forrest Wood Cup on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, Georgia.

Wheeler, 21, won $500,000, and became the youngest Forrest Wood Cup Champion, beating Straight Talk pro Scott Canterbury of Springville, Alabama by 7 pounds, 5 ounces.
