INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Two state senators from Indianapolis are honoring the investigators of a deadly home explosion in the city's Richmond Hills neighborhood last year.

Republicans Pat Miller and Jim Merritt authored a Senate resolution Thursday thanking local law enforcement and safety officials for their work. The pair said the resolution honors the "countless hours" and "heroic" efforts of the investigations team.

The Nov. 10 explosion killed Jennifer and John Longworth. It also destroyed 33 homes and forced 200 people to evacuate.

Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry has charged three suspects each with two counts of murder, conspiracy to commit arson and dozens of other charges.
