INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A spokesperson for IPS says the school system is "very pleased with the transportation of students to school this morning."

There were no reports of any delays or any routes not being picked up Monday morning.

IPS spokesperson John Althardt says they were assured by the union and by Durham that the students would be picked up as scheduled.

IPS Superintendent Dr. Eugene White issued a stern warning that disputes that end up stranding students is not acceptable. The school system was assured by union members and Durham that this "would not happen again."
