INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Symphony Society’s Board of Director’s announced Sunday that it has exceeded a $5 million goal for donor commitments.
The society has received an outpouring of support in response to their fundraising campaign.
The final tally will be announced when all gifts and donations are accounted for, according to a release.
The ISO has been operating under a bridge agreement since Oct. 2012 while fundraising began to raise $5 million in donor commitments.
The campaign, called “Life. It’s Better with Music,” was the first step in ensuring a financially stable future for the orchestra in the next five years.
